Klara Lidén’s work is an exploration of the physical and mental boundaries of the public and private spaces we inhabit. Her interest in urban planning and social activism is developed through performance, film-making, and large-scale installations. Lidén attended the School of Architecture at the Royal School of Technology in Stockholm; the Berlin University of the Arts in Berlin, and received her MFA from the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm in 2007. She has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions in Europe, including the Serpentine Gallery, London, and the Moderna Museet, Stockholm. In 2009, Lidén’s work was presented as part of an exhibition in the Danish and Nordic pavilions at the 53rd International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
